You will not be thinking about the calories but the nutritional content that is inside the type of foods you eat. This is not about slimming down, looking great and removing excess weight, although these do tend to be the side benefits, it is all about stopping the entry of toxins into your system until you have done your colon cleansing program.

First, you need to restructure your daily menu. Remove all fatty foods, processed foods, soda, alcoholic drinks and foods that are high in fats, refined sugar and protein. These would serve as too much a temptation. Then, restock your cupboard, pantry and refrigerator with healthy colon cleansing foods that are high in fiber and complex carbohydrates.

Chose only foods that are high in fiber and nutritionally rich like fresh vegetables, whole grain, fresh fruit and pulses and legumes, and make sure that plenty of water is drunk.

This is what you are going to eat everyday, for about two weeks, until you experience lightness in your colon and the frequency of your bowel movement is regular.

You should be having bowel movements about the same number of times that you have substantial meals. This is normally 2 ?3 times per day.

There's no harm if you continue on the diet; in fact this diet is similar to the ones we would have evolved with, so it is natural and the best type of diet for wellbeing.

Adding fish and seafood once every few days and some meat from time to time, about once a week, is not a concern, just do not have these items as staples.

Going on a high fiber diet is the simplest way to cleanse the colon. All you really need to do is to stick to the diet and the normal processes in the body will clean the colon naturally.
